Find a home inspector you can trust with Journey Home Inspection Services

I have worked with other inspectors in the past but I have not seen a company be so reliable with communication & information. My clients and I were in the loop at every step and both got calls to inform us about the inspection details. I can't say enough good things about James and Journey Home Inspections! I was referred to him by a REA friend. He was able to get me in within 2-3 days and did the most thorough inspection! I am a real estate investor and James walked around with me teaching me as he went along. He was so respectful and kind and he gave me all the facts about the house and let me come to my own conclusion about whether or not it was a good investment. He got me in touch with other people that may help me in my journey. He was so thorough and kind and that makes me very excited to work with him in the future!

Journey Home Inspector Services were awesome! Gave us a very detailed report that included pictures of everything they looked at. I have had an inspection done before that I only got a report on what needed to be fixed. They were very professional when we walked in and let us know what they had found that were minor fixes. James (the owner) also did a follow up call a couple of days after the inspection to see if we had any questions upon review the full report. I, myself, do not understand a lot of what was in the report so he explained it in a way I can understand. I will definitely be recommending Journey Home Inspector Services to anyone I can, and I will use them when/if we decide to move to another property! Excellent experience working with James. As a real estate agent, the most important thing is to make sure clients minds are put at ease. James reached out to the clients and explained the report and made sure they knew the severity level of each issue. And has left an open line of communication between them. This is rare and much appreciated.

Wonderful experience. James was very thorough and ensured he went through the report with me line by line. He was able to explain things that were in good order but may have issues in the future and was very clear about what absolutely needed repair now. I liked that I could bundle other inspections with the home as well.

James was able to get our inspection scheduled quickly and encouraged us to be at the home to answer any questions we might have. We also felt at ease with the inspection knowing he would use specific tools and instruments to find any issues that might come up that could be hidden from the natural eye. He even let my husband crawl around the attic with him. He was able to go over the full report with us after the inspection and explain everything in great detail.
